The South Carolina and Clemson baseball teams will face off in the Palmetto Series over the weekend as the Gamecocks look to beat its in-state rivals for the second year in a row. The teams have almost identical 2024 records, and both are coming into the series off of wins.

South Carolina will begin its Â鶹Сòòò½´«Ã½ when it hosts the Carolina Classic from Feb. 9 to 11 at Beckham Field.
The South Carolina baseball team completed its first series in conference play with a sweep over Georgia. The Gamecocks scored 12 runs in two of the three games and clinched the series with a combination of strong starting pitching and offensive power.

The South Carolina softball team suffered a blowout loss in its Â鶹Сòòò½´«Ã½ opener against Charlotte, losing to the 49ers by run rule. However, the Gamecocks rebounded to win its last two games at the Charlotte Invitational before rain ended the weekend early.
