South Carolina's House of Representatives passed a bill that would ban gender-affirming care for minors, causing outrage from groups across the state. Opposers of the bill, dubbed "Help Not Harm" said negatively impact mental health and could force more public outings. Advocates of the bill argue that it would help protect children.
