A Â鶹Сòòò½´«Ã½ student was taken to the hospital after an incident at the Science and Technology building on Tuesday.
According to university spokesperson Jeff Stensland, there was no threat to public safety.
A Carolina Alert was sent out to students around 11 a.m. about the incident, saying to avoid Devine Street. Just before 2 p.m., the university cleared the alert and announced the road had re-opened to traffic.
The alert went out to students in case they had concerns about the scene, Stensland said.
